No advertising or analytics cookies are included. You can use every article and navigation link without saving a preference.
What can be saved?
daybreak_notice is a first-party cookie containing the value acknowledged. Selecting “Save preference” creates it for up to 90 days so the notice does not repeat on each page. It is not a personal identifier.
What if I decline?
“Do not save” closes the notice on the current page and removes an existing preference cookie. Nothing is saved to local storage instead, so the notice can return on another page.
Change the setting
The “Cookie settings” button in the footer reopens the notice. Choose “Do not save” to clear the preference, or remove it using browser settings. On HTTPS the cookie is marked Secure and uses SameSite=Lax.
